Come help the ASSETS 2022 conference as a student volunteer!
Every year, we have an amazing group of student volunteers who assist the ASSETS community with creating the amazing conference we all know and love. Student volunteers are expected to collaborate in the conference organization and assist with operational tasks. In addition, being a student volunteer provides opportunities to interact with people in the community as part of these duties. The broad duties of the student volunteers includes:
- Checking all materials, including papers and videos, to ensure that they are accessible to everyone
- Answering questions for community members during the conference
- Helping with registration and general conference logistics
- Free Registration for ASSETS '22! (online and in-person)
- Interacting with the community either online or in-person during the ASSETS '22
- Supporting the Organizing committee in smooth delivery of the ASSETS ’22 conference
Franklin Mingzhe Li and Maryam Bandukda are the student volunteer coordinators and will manage logistics across the group. This is a great opportunity to get involved in a scientific conference and to learn something new. This year, we are looking for both online and in-person student volunteers. Typically, each student volunteer is asked to contribute up to 20 hours in the weeks preceding the conference and during the conference itself (ASSETS ‘22 will be October 23-26, 2022). Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions at sv-chairs-assets22@acm.org
The deadline for the application is on Thursday, June 23, 2022. Candidates will be contacted via email (please double check your email address in the form!) soon after the deadline
